Anatomy research List of research faculty and their anatomy sub-disciplines

The anatomy faculty and students are engaged in research across two major areas: anatomical education and anatomical variation. Our focus in anatomical education is on fostering a strong sense of community among students in the anatomy lab and determining empirically based teaching practices to enhance learning outcomes. Our research in anatomical variation explores differences in human structure, emphasizing the clinical and medico-legal implications of these variations. Together, these efforts enrich educational practices for health science students and advance the clinical and medico-legal applications in anatomy.
