cell biology & Cancer research List of research faculty and their cell biology & Cancer sub-disciplines
Research in our department explores fundamental cell biological principles, from signaling pathways and gene regulation to cell division and death, to understanding how these processes malfunction in cancer. We employ innovative technologies and diverse model systems to investigate the intricate mechanisms that govern cellular processes, particularly those that become dysregulated in malignant transformations. By unraveling these complexities, we aim to develop innovative diagnostic and therapeutic strategies to combat cancer and other diseases.
