Jacqueline Sayyah has successfully defended her dissertation research and has been awarded a Ph.D. in Physiology. Peter Sayeski was her faculty mentor.
A. J. Cardounel, Ph.D., has been appointed as a permanent member of the “Atherosclerosis and Inflammation of the Cardiovascular System Study Section” of NIH’s Center for Scientific Review. The appointment takes effect in October, 2009.
